A recipe for a garlic and chicken stew?

Why not make your basic chicken stew (cut up chicken carrots celery potatoes chicken stock and black pepper etc and simmer for an hour), to thicken it add a spoon of cornstarch to half a cup of cold water, stir until dissolved then add to the stew. Stir well and let thicken for about 10. Make a biscuit/dumpling type topping with garlic and cheese and drop over the top, cover and allow to bake/cook. If you are in the states, use Bisquick, make as on the box for dumplings but add crushed or powdered garlic to it. If you are in the UK or another place where you cannot find Bisquick..then buy a package of mix, (the kind you make Yorkshire Puddings and pancakes from). They are usually just add water. Make the batter, but do not make it soupy. You want it a bit stiff. Add about a half teaspoon of garlic and I like to add Parmesan or cheddar cheese to mine...about a quarter to half a cup. Mix then drop by spoonfuls on TOP of your stew. They should make that float and will touch each other. Cover and allow to cook on med heat for about 10 minutes. They will cook and form what we Americans call Stew Biscuits or Dumplings. Trust me...it is to delightful!! Blissy<3

He (thankfully) uses the litter box, but he frequently leaves poop on his rear end end which then gets on his hind legs, tail, and other places when he curls up and sits down. I am 45 years old. Just over five years ago I became a vegetarian and have felt great ever since. About a year ago I decided it was time I lost some weight. So I joined Weight Watchers and went from 214 lbs to 183 lbs. And I didn't feel hungry, which was surprising. I felt even better. I have 3 dogs, The 3rd one I took from a farm in PA because she was unwanted by the woman who originally took her to breed. So I rescued her. She was 6months when I got her, she is a White German Shepherd. When I got her home it was evident she was afraid of everything! She had never been indoors even. I tried to bond with her, I tried to teach her commands. I have tried to exercises her. I have tried routine. I don't know what else to try. She is afraid of EVERYTHING! I have never had a dog like this. When she walks even she crouches down so that she isn't standing straight. Teaching her to sit was difficult because she tries to DROP to the ground. She is lovable, but I cant work with her. I have NEVER hit her. But Im wondering if she was abused? and how do I get her out of this? She jumps at every little sound, even the pop of the fireplace. She does get along GREAT with the other 2 dogs. I have had her about 6 months, and with every effort I have been able to teach her basic commands. I don't know what else to try to help her confidence? Any helpful suggestions are appreciated!

Since noone has ever witnessed a pole shift and record its effects, we really do not know what will happen during one. Nasty neigbor that is mentally unstable?

I moved to my neighborhood almost 4 years ago and my neighbor and I were friends at first until I realised what she was like. She would spread nasty rumors about me to others as well as her saying things to me about others that were really nasty saying someone had a drug problem someone else she thought was ually abuse a kid really bad things people have guns and wanting hurt someone I was new to the neighborhood and thought oh no what type of a place did I move to turns out he is a compulsive liar and acts scary I cannot afford a lawyer to get her for slander and others cannot afford it as well. Anytime I have company over she will have her son paly ball near the cars she will purposely come out and be loud if we are outside she will stare and it has made my company feel uncompfortable to the point we have to go inside. She is married with 1 child who is very rude and throws rocks at my house and car. She has hit on some of my male friends when i'm not home and her husband is not.

A close friend of mine has an APBT/Mastiff whom I am very concerned about. I cared for him as a pup, and he had a great disposition, but under the care of my friend he has grown anxious and agressive toward strangers. I could easily point out the mistakes she's made raising him; Prong collar 24/7, no walks, little exercise, no socialization, no training, use of physical discipline, unaltered...and all of this has lead to him being anxious and wary. My friend does not seem like she is going to change her ways, and I'm worried that this dog will end up nothing but a loaded gun. Due to the level of animal agression in this dog, I cannot take him myself without risking the health and happiness of my dogs....but I still think something must be done. He is in great physical condition and recieves proper veterinary care, so will the MSPCA be able to do anything? Or does there need to be signs of physical abuse before they will sieze the animal? Why do I get text messages multiple times?

Why are anime in the US given very harsh ratings?

I've been realizing that anime nowadays have been given very harsh age ratings. Anime such as FMA brotherhood, Code ge, Hetalia and many more have been rated tv-ma. I know its cause of the violence and stuff, but I've seen gorier and more graphic tv shows (such as Heroes and Supernatural) that get only tv-14. And some episodes don't even qualify for tv-ma (the last 2 episodes of code ge R1 had tv-14 content but got a ma rating). So if live action shows like Heroes, Supernatural, Prison break and many more can get a tv-14 rating while being able to show extremely graphic violence, then why can't anime? I mean its only cartoon violence so why rate them tv-ma?

My IMac won't fully turn on Please Help!!!?

Ok so, I have an IMac right? It's running OS X 10.5 and one day I had to force turn off my Mac because it froze. Then when I wanted to turn it on it went to grey screen with apple logo and spiral tingy at bottom and it jsut stays there. Sometimes if i leave it of for like 4 hours or so it wors perfectly fine until i have to shut it off...I close all apps normally (apple+q) and then when i'm on finder I go to apple thingy to turn it off and the colorful ball appears and It's the loading ball am I right? Ok so it gets to that ball and stays like that and ball won't leave...So to turn it off I have to force turn it off and I once had this problem with a Mac Book Pro which is the one i'm on but I one day left the MacBook on the same screen and it worked perfectly and it never had that problem so I did this with the IMac and if i leave in grey screen for like 30 minuted and it goes to blue screen from there sometimes it continues working like goign from blue to my background to working fine and sometimes it get's stook in bue screen or at background. So i'm asking if you guys know what i can do? I've tried the control+option+r+q thing and it restarts but same problem i'm actually getting scared because we live in Colombia and we can't send to apple or anything and it's my dad's computer so we can't let it break please help me.

Ok, so I bought a Sony Bravia 52' XBR4 model. Some of these TV's have defective screens and I happened to be one of the owners of a defective screen. I call up Sony and they come to my house and fix the TV. But, I was so busy that when they fixed it I didn't check the TV until after he left. Turns out the Logo doesn't illuminate anymore. I may be the only one who likes the logo illuminated but I don't know how to get it back on. I tried turning it on and off in the XMB, nothing happend. Help me please!!

Should I beat this kid up?

Ok, in art cl there is this wayyyy annoying kid. On the first day of school My art teacher (who is very cool) was saying something in the front of the clroom. I was sitting close to were the teacher was talking. About 2 rows behind me there was tis **** called "Jordan". He would not be quiet when the teacher would ask him. It was annoyin EVERYONE. So later on that week we had an ignment to do in cl. The stupid kid rolled up to me in his chair, and started saying such dumb stuff. I finally got tired of it and stood up and said "go back to your seat you little ******" (sorry for my language, please dont report as this is a serious issue...). I am a large 16 year old. He is a little 15 year old that looks like he should be in 8th grade. He quickly went back to his seat. Well months went by, and he didnt do anything to me. Until the kid threw something at me and it hit my in the face. I told myself I was going to kick his *** after cl, and he knew I was going to. When the bell rang he ran to the parking lot, and I just let him go. Well today I heard him say the full on "N" word, this infuriated me. Its white kids like him that get white kids like me jumped... anyway, I then heard him call this girl in the cl a "C" word. This made me even more angry. The girl he called the c word has no friendsin that cl and I feel really bad for her. I wanted to take him, push him over the desk, and slam his head into the wall. No one appreciates this kid, so should I just take a suspension and give everyone a favre and kick his ***? Thanks ahead of time. Also could I get sued?

Why am I so uncool and alone?

I'm serious. I used to think maybe I was just overreacting, but I seriously feel like one of the uncoolest people on earth. And the reason that matters is because it affects relationships and my social life. I actually took a personality test on a major dating site where it matches people by percentages of similarity, and on EVERY side by side comparison I've seen, even next to supposedly "uncool" people, I was the worst. What is going on with my son?

My son is 11 months, he'll be one on the 24th. For the past couple of days he has been spitting up a lot. He was diagnosed with reflux when he was 6 weeks old but the symptoms disappeared when he was 9 months, so I took him off the Zantac. He isn't arching his back when he eats his bottle and it doesn't seem to bother him when he spits up. He is teething, he actually has 4 teeth coming in on the top, can this cause babies to spit up? Can reflux disappear and then suddenly reappear later? I'm worried about him because it seems like he is spitting up everything he eats, not just formula, but the solids he eats too. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Anger/headaches/ repressed emotion?

At 17 you should be out having the time of your life. Hanging out with friends, going on dates, stuff like that. Sounds like you had a rough upbringing and there is nothing wrong with being angry about it. You may need to seek out proffessional help, therapy. That is nothing to be ashamed of. Everyone has a hard time sooner or later and I believe that everyone could benefit using a counselor. Find a healthy way to release your anger, excercise, boxing is always good. Okay, I've had bronchitis before, and this was a symptom of it, but I don't feel as crappy as I did then. However, my lungs are severely itchy. I started coughing excessively this morning...yesterday it was mostly a head cold. My inhaler isn't helping...neither is my advair (perhaps I need to get that increased).
