I Am being blamed for xbox 360 accident?

K. I was at my friends house and I wanted to get on the internet. so i tried to hack his internet access acount. (he knew i was doing this) Then when his xbox 360 live kicked him off and wouldnt let him back online he went to the kitchen and got this book. i watched him put this pword thing in on his xbox. it was something like 0022cc6923 or something like that. then when i tried to put that in on the computer cause i thought it was his pword, everyone in my little towns xbox live kicked them off... or everyone with the same internet thingy. (Hershey internet access) so please tell me what if anything that i did wrong!!!
