I miss my doggy so much :(?

she had to be put down 2 weeks ago, she was 12 years old staffy, brindle, and i had her since i was 7, so i grew up with her and i was so distraught when she got ill, i miss her so much :( every time i come home i miss her greeting me at the door, and i miss her snuggling with me, our dog who is 10 is missing her to, we trying our best to keep him occupied but he really lazy and doesn't like any toys or anything, its really hard :( has any one else had a similar experience?
