What would you do?

I would think that those would be legitimate procedures for a library. If you cant finish on time go to her and explain whats happening. Just be very professional and explain that you want to do a good job, but you need to know what is expected and how much time is sufficient to complete them. If things dont get any better I would start looking for a new job.
